We are committed to providing a safe environment for all and will be running all 2021 events in accordance with current guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England.
Although venue capacity restrictions and Covid measures have been eased, IIMF are maintaining a cautious approach and will keep in place a Hands – Face – Space approach at all events. We will maintain wherever possible approx 1m space between audience members (or couples/groups where multiple tickets have been bought by one audience member).
Ticket holders may select their preferred general seating area on booking, but the Festival will allocate exact seats shortly before the concert dates to allow us to make a seating plan which complies with this approach. Seat numbers will be issued on arrival at the venue on the concert day.
The Festival will arrange for the Guildford Tourist Information Centre to inform ticket holders by email no later than 1 day in advance of the concerts of any Covid-19 safety procedures with which we would ask them to comply. These are currently planned to include (although are not limited to) the wearing of facemasks (unless medically exempt), use of hand sanitiser, avoiding congestion, and not attending if you feel unwell, are experiencing Covid symptoms or have been asked to self isolate. We recommend all audience members to refer to the government’s offical guidance which can be found at www.gov.uk/coronavirus. IIMF reserves the right to amend these guidelines.
The Festival has arranged for all events (except 25 September) to be performed twice on the same date to encourage a spread of bookings across both performances.
Each performance will run without interval to minimise audience mingling and will last between approx. 60-70 mins.
The Festival will make best efforts to reduce congestion before and after each performance.
The Festival will ensure that hand-sanitiser is available widely at each venue and will clean contact surfaces using anti-viral products between performances.
The box office will only issue print-at-home tickets.
The Festival will ask all staff and artists to confirm that they have been double-vaccinated or to take a lateral flow test within 48 hours of the concert.
If you arrive after the concert has started, we cannot guarantee that you will be admitted to the auditorium.
