We are committed to providing a safe environment for all and will be running all 2021 events in accordance with current guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England.
Ticket sales will initially be limited to no more than 50% of venue capacity. As and when the government confirms further stages in the easing of restrictions, the Festival will review the prevailing guidelines and may release more tickets, up to full capacity should all social distancing measures have been removed by the concert dates.
Ticket holders may select their preferred general seating area on booking, but the Festival will allocate exact seats shortly before the concert dates to comply with any social distancing regulations which may still be in place.
The Festival will inform ticket holders by email no later than 1 week in advance of the concerts of any Covid-19 safety procedures with which they need to comply. These may include (although are not limited to) the wearing of facemasks, temperature checks, proof of negative Covid-19 tests or vaccines. These will be decided in early September in the light of the prevailing government advice.
The Festival has arranged for all events (except 25 September) to be performed twice on the same date to encourage a spread of bookings across both performances.
Each performance will run without interval to minimise audience mingling and will last between approx. 60-70 mins.
Should social distancing measures still be in place, the Festival will make best efforts to reduce congestion before and after each performance, with staff positioned at entrances/exits/toilets and signage to remind people to keep their distance and clearly marked one-way systems in place where possible.
The Festival will ensure that hand-sanitiser is available widely at each venue and will clean surfaces and toilets using anti-viral products between performances.
The box office will for the time being only issue print-at-home tickets.
The Festival will check the temperature of staff and artists before each concert and ask them not to attend if symptomatic of Covid-19.
The Festival will ask all staff, artists and audience members to log their details on the NHS Test and Trace system to ensure they can be contacted if necessary.
If you arrive after the concert has started, we cannot guarantee that you will be admitted to the auditorium.
